lovely lioness | Hello, I'm hoping someone can help me.I know you need the exact birth time for a chart to be accurate, but if you don't have it what should you do? I know Linda always used 6:00AM, but some astrologers use 12:00PM. I guess the Rising sign and house placements would be different regardless of the time....what do you think is better to use?? Thanks for the help/opinions! take care all |
Rev. Alice | If you are using an incorrect birth time, it probably does not matter whether you use 6 or 12 or any other time. Before you do that--and if you have not already done so, check your birth certificate. Most have the birth time on them. ------------------ You are a blessing and you are blessed. Rev. Archer | or u can call up the hospital u were born in. they might have ur info in their database. ------------------ Neerav |
NightCreature | You can sometimes guess your birth time. Because the birth time will affect the location of the moon and the ascendant in the chart, so just look back and try to characterize yourself. Like if you are driven by emotions then you probably have a libra ascendant. Try to get some clues about your appearance, etc and see how those clues relate to your ascendant-sun moon-sun linkages. For instance I knew that I had a libra ascendant before I actually new my time. Part of this is because I'm diplomatic in nature. I'm driven by emotions. I get along with libras extremely well, etc. |
lovely lioness | Oops! I know my birth time, what I meant is if you don't know someone else's birth time, but thank you for your responses!! sorry for the mix up, should have explained more. :S I would still love some input if anyone is willing to help out! thanks again

Archer | give us ur natal chart's link. make it at astro.com ------------------ Neerav |
Sunny Mavericks | I was curious about this too. I was adopted so there is no way to know what my birth time is. I read somewhere that it has to be correct- down to the minute- but if you don't know it then 12PM gives you a generalized chart. What do you all think? Should I be using 12PM? Why did Linda say 6PM? LibraSparkle | At astro.com you can select "unknown". This won't give you your Ascendant... but will give you a good idea of what's going on. |
